SCAON worked with vulnerable population in GTA to help them overcome the adverse impact of Covid19. More than 200 Full Ramadan Iftar was prepared and delivered to vulnerable population, 322 vitamin bottle
Covid19 Support project included other activities like
1) Home deliveries of groceries and medication
2) Helping vulnerable Sudanese Canadian to access government benefits
3) Replacing in-person, one-on-one contact and social gathering with virtual contacts through phone calls and internet teleconferencing
The project reached people in five different shelters and several self-isolation locations .
All programs are funded by contribution and donation from SCAON's members and administrated by the SCAON board
